In 2011 I was elected as a councillor to the Vale of White Horse District Council. At that time, I started what I thought would be a second blog, to do with politics and council work. I was a councillor for 14 years, and stepped down in May of 2025. In the months that followed, my husband David’s illness took over, and he died a few months ago.
In my promise to take small steps to reengage with things I like in the world, here’s a post to my personal blog, the first since 2012.
